quad surgery

The ol' ATV has been leaking gas and simply stopping when there is still gas in the tank.  "Off" does not turn off the gas flow and "Reserve" does not allow enough gas to keep it running, but gas flows enough to overflow the carb and leak out when stopped.  Removed the tank and the carb.  Carburetor and petcock on the tank are beyond repair or rebuild.  New replacements coming next week.  90,99,67, .08",B

shell off?

Been spending quite a bit of time on www.airforums.com.  (today's photos from the airforums website)  One of the things I did not know before I jumped into this project is that in order to correctly repair the frame and replace the floor, the shell needs to be removed.  That being said...I am contemplating building a gantry which seems to be the preferred method of doing a shell off.  Once the shell is removed and placed on a secure surface, the gantry can be used to lift the frame to gain access to both sides for repairs and painting.  Still not totally committed to this project but I'm thinking even with the extent of repairs needed - this will be much faster to refurbish than the greenhouse was to build.  86,99,74,0,B

Black Peacock

Got gifted a bottle of genuine Black Peacock BBQ Sauce (his brand new secret blend) from my buddy Jon Peacock.  Two thumbs up for what it does to grilled chicken!  93,103,73,0,B

Fruit

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

rotten bottom

Never fails...bathrooms are notorious for leaks.  This 36 year old Airstream has had its' share of water working wrong.  Looks like I will have to replace most of the steel under this section.  I think the only thing that has been holding the end up is the exterior skin.  90,102,71,0,B

Land Yacht

Next project on the list...the Airstream.  Did some research on repairing windows.  Figured out what I have to do to clear the bubbled tinting that is sandwiched inside each one.  While tallying up what will have to be repaired, I discovered something that I seem to have missed in the couple of years I have owned this albatross.  One of the windows had been sealed from the inside when one of probably many interior rapes had occurred.  Decided that the only logical option is to completely gut the the inside.  This is gonna take awhile.  84,101,75,0,B

something solar 8

The new set up seems to be maxing out on the charge pretty early in the day thanks to the tracking circuit.  Before the original set ages too much - I decided to add a 4th battery to the mix to give it a little more depth.  89,98,66,0,B

no eggs

Well....I'm 99% sure now that all 4 new chickens turned out to be roosters.  I am holding out hope that one of them is just faking crowing along with the others out of fear of being found out.  If no eggs in the coop by next month, then I will be 100% sure.  91,101,68,0,B

Abspannanleitung

Decided to restring the cage quarter section that got damaged when I flubbed my first PPG launch.  Luckily I found a diagram for the pattern.  Ended up being a lot easier than I thought it would be.  Ordered a couple other spare bits along with a little wire fishing tool to pull the string through the frame.  86,98,70, .04",B

just enough

Had a brief rain in just the right spot this afternoon.  The creek ran and I sucked up another 2000 gallons - the creek tanks are full now (7500 gallons).  80,98,74, .30",B

which way?

Deuteronomy 11:26-28

26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day:
28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

other plumbing

Got a jump on the Pepino fix but holding off to finish till early tomorrow.  Also on the list was a new sight gauge for the solar water heater.  The old piece of plastic tubing was clouded up pretty good...and had a dead grasshopper clogging it up.  Figured it was also time to put a valve on the bottom of the water tank out by the barn.  Got the plug out and valve in without loosing much water even though the 1500 gallon tank is almost full.  Pushed an empty plastic feed sack down inside near the outlet with a metal pole - as soon as the plug came out the bad got sucked into the outlet and only let a sprinkle through.  90,101,72,0,B

Poor Pepino

Time for some overdue maintenance on Pepino.  The ol' boy is still keeping me cool but has been leaking, spitting, and sputtering.  Picked up parts today to replace the upper reservoir, the hoses, and perhaps the pump.  94,103,70,0,B

my first app

Just joined the new age.  Downloaded an app for a mobile device.  Impulse buy due to a post on a paramotor group on Facebook.  Even though I am not even flying, I talked myself into buying a smart phone (without the phone) device and an app that I couldn't resist.  Bought a Samsung Tab 3 which includes GPS - ordered it yesterday afternoon and it arrived today.  All so I could load in this... http://ppgps.info/  My first venture into Android Land.  90,100,69,0,B
