some labor day...

Picked a 3 hour chore for the holiday - hoisted a 4x4 beam up the east side today to begin the task of closing off that end.  Rather awkward  safely solo lifting a 24' long piece of steel that weighs 152lbs.
A cold front moved in last night.  79,89,65,0,B

For you to do the 24' beam install alone is testament to your level of skill and balance. Usually, if someone is just standing there watching, something's bound to go wrong!
Good job, John

I clicked on comments to see what the first one was, and the word verification for me to leave a comment was bonitta... thought it was too funny not comment and verify with it. Made me think "Yes, how is Miss Benita" , it was so close.

Nice work on the beam.

Glad you got your cool front. We got ours here, too. What a difference 25 degrees makes. Now for some rain...
