Hey, What happen to your idea of using that big table for the pot luck dinner get together?

Congratulations John.

Like the ole commercial used to say "You deserve a break today, so git up and get away"

John, KERA-TV, the Dallas PBS station produced a new 30 minute program called:
Ghost Town: 24 Hours in Terlingua

A visit to Terlingua, Texas, a once-vibrant quicksilver-mining community in the Chihuahua Desert near the Mexican border. Now sparsely populated, it's "a town where misfits fit in," as resident and former Enron software engineer Kerry O'Hare explains.

I am recording it; if you would like a copy, let me know. Should be interesting.

I forgot to add that it is being broadcast 9:30 pm Monday night, CDT.

Congrats John.

It must feel rewarding to have reached this point in your work. Your progress is an inspiration to me as I begin laying the ground work for my own project.

@ gumo: Is there any chance of the program you mention showing up on YouTube?

@ Gumo: I've known about that documentary for a while now and have really been wanting to see it. I live in Michigan and checked my PBS just in case it might be on here and so far I'm not finding it. Thanks for the info though it gives me some hope that maybe the local PBS might air it at some point. For those of you that are interested the Trailer is on Youtube.

So, there are three trusses on the containers, two standing up in the container courtyard, and one wheeled outside. That makes six. All trusses complete. Next comes the painting, then the raising. It's really starting to come together.
